Relationship Over ‘Religion’ / John 7:14-39
'Religion' today carries much baggage with it. With a broad brush it encompasses every belief system and has contributed to terrible things in this world. When it is not pure and undefiled it is ugly. Jesus came to this Earth to restore our relationship with God. This is a glorious truth with an offer to anyone who would believe and receive it.

How Do You Respond to Truth? / John 6:60-71
How Do You Respond to Truth? We look at the different responses and motives to Truth in this section. Truth can be hard to hear, truth will bring out our motives, but true disciples will never leave. We see Peter here respond to Jesus' question, "will you also leave?" by stating, "To whom shall we go? You alone have the Words of Eternal life!" Search high and low and when confronted, come to this same conclusion in Christ.

    From Above / John 6:41-59
Man has always endeavored to ascend upwards toward the Heavens, and understandably, and this is what sets Christianity apart from all other religions - the fact that God came down, from above, as Jesus states several times in these verses. He is the Bread of Life that has come down from Heaven. He, the Son of God entered into our broken world to fulfill and redeem it. He alone is the eternal sustenance that our souls desire, the True Bread of Life.

Bread of Life / John 6:22-40
Jesus makes the bold claim here that He is the Bread of Life. As we look deeper into what He is communicating, we see that we should not follow like these crowds that were only after the tangible and temporary results Jesus was providing for them, but rather for the permanent Truths that He is seeking to instill in us. We see in this section that the Bread of Life is in fact Imperishable, Unpurchasable, and Indisplaceable.

Listen (or watch) in as we look at one of the most famous stories of Jesus stepping out onto liquid and walking on water. This has massive implications for our lives if we listen and rightly apply the Truths and Principals gleaned from this very cool miracle.

There was just to much good stuff in this section of John, looking at all the characteristics of the Messiah in this feeding of the 5K. What amazing insights we are given about our Lord in this section, and no wonder it is the only miracle (except the Resurrection) that is recorded in all 4 Gospels. We look at the [Characteristics of Ministry] and the [Chain-Reaction of Ministry

    Exponential: (5+2) /5000=12 / John 6:1-14
The math equation in the title isn't exactly correct via standard methods and formulas but highlights the equation of exponential growth that Christ brings about in the first verses of John chapter 6. It is miraculous - He sees the problem of provision coming and knows that He will meet this need. He tests His disciples in meeting this need, watches them fail, and in turn involves them in not only meeting this need - but exceeding this need! So much here to apply to our lives as well.

Why You Should Believe / John 5:30-47
This theme of this study through John is "That We May Believe", but the logical question follows; why? Why should you believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the World. We see here in these verses that Jesus calls 4 witnesses to the stand that give testimony to His Deity. We see, 1) The Witness of Others 2) The Witness of His Works 3) The Witness of the Father 4) The Witness of the Scriptures.

    Equality w/ Elohim / John 5:17-29
Who is Jesus? This is the most important question that can be asked, and that must be answered. Jesus asked this himself to his disciples in Matthew 16, and He asks it of us as well. Skeptics over the years have said that Jesus himself never claimed to be God, but we see clearly in John 5:17-29 otherwise. He did claim to be God. He is God, wrapped in skin on a rescue mission to redeem mankind!
